Most people have this notion that a trip to Las Vegas means completely getting lost in all the brightly lit casinos. Las Vegas is associated so much with gambling that most people can't believe there are actually a number of great attractions in the area that cater to the interests of the whole family, not just to the card-playing young adults or gambling-loving parents. A family vacation Las Vegas style has something for everyone, including your babies, kids, and old folks.
Some of the most popular wholesome attractions you can hit right away upon arriving at Las Vegas are Gameworks and Circus Circus Adventuredom. Then head off to the Mirage for the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat, and then to the MGM for the Lion Habitat.
Of course, you'll want to hit the casinos, too. Those are what make Las Vegas a favorite tourist destination, after all. If you want to gamble, you don't have to worry about who will take care of your kids while you have a blast - you can easily find several hotels that provide child-care services. However, be careful to remember that some hotels and casinos, like the Bellagio, do not allow children inside its premises unless they're registered hotel guests of any sort - staying in the hotel, attending shows, or dining at the hotel restaurants. The best children-oriented hotels to stay at to have a relaxing, worry-free family vacation Las Vegas style would be Circus Circus, New York-York, and Mandalay Bay.
